Marietta National Cemetery Flag Placement

Pack 565 Families,

Tomorrow, May 23, 2009, we'll join many other Cub Scout Packs for the
Memorial Weekend flag placement ceremony at Marietta National Cemetery.
This is an awe-inspiring event. Cub Scouts place over 15,000 flags in just
one to two hours. Bring your cameras. We'll meet at 7:45 to 8:00 AM in the
Library parking lot across the street for donuts and coffee.

Last year, clips from this event (with our Pack!) were shown nationally on
NBC Nightly News.

Cub Scouts MUST wear a Class A (dress blues) uniform. (Friends are exempt.)

To get to the Marietta National Cemetery, just take Roswell Road past the
Big Chicken. Go straight for about another mile. The cemetery will be on
your right and the library is on your left.

See you there,

Carl
