Camp Cards Fundraiser

The Atlanta Area Council Camp Card sale is one of the best — and easiest — ways for scouts to raise money, a full 50 percent stays with the pack.  A Camp Card is a $5 discount card with deals at top community partners like Waffle House, Publix, and Dick's Sporting Goods.

Webelos Woods is a chance for the scouts to begin learning the Patrol Method, where the scouts are responsible for many aspects of camping. During Webelos Woods the scouts are responsible for cooking and cleaning, being on time to scheduled events, and working as a patrol to get things done.

The den leaders will be having a few meetings with the scouts prior to the weekend to select patrol leaders (one or two of the scouts), plan their meals, choose tent assignments, etc.

The first planning meeting will be at the end of March. Watch your email for details from Patrick Lawrence.
